Michael Bakari Jordan, or as we like to call him, MBJ, was born on February 9, 1987. That makes him a big 35 this year. But you know what they say, "Age is just a number," right? Especially when you're as talented and charming as MBJ.

Remember When...

Remember when we first met MBJ? It was way back in 2001, in that little show called "The Wire." He was just a kid, playing the character of Wallace. We were all kids then, weren't we? Now, look at us, talking about MBJ like we've known him since he was a teenager. Isn't that something?

Then, he grew up right before our eyes. He was in "Friday Night Lights," "Parenthood," and even played the young Reggie in "The Sopranos." We watched him evolve, from a young actor to the powerhouse he is today. It's like watching your kid sibling grow up and become the life of the party.

Now, Let's Talk About His Breakthrough

You can't talk about MBJ's age without mentioning his breakthrough role. In 2015, he starred in "Creed," the seventh film in the Rocky franchise. He was 28, and he knocked it out of the park. Literally. Have you seen those boxing scenes? Talk about a punching bag for our emotions. We cheered, we cried, we wanted to high-five him through the screen.

And then, he directed and produced the movie too. Talk about a multitasking superstar. It's like when your friend starts a small business from their garage and it blows up. You're just sitting there, sipping your beer, going, "Wow, I knew them when..."

And the rest is history. MBJ has been killing it ever since. "Just Mercy," "Without Remorse," and let's not forget his directorial debut with "Creed III." He's been busy, and we've been here for it, every step of the way.
