What Is Ty Pennington Doing These Days

So, you're wondering, "What's Ty Pennington up to these days?" Let's grab a coffee and catch up, shall we?

First things first, if you're expecting to see Ty swinging a sledgehammer on TV, you might have to hold your horses. The man who once transformed homes in a blink on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has taken a step back from the small screen.

But don't you worry, Ty's not sitting at home, counting his old 'Move that bus!' catchphrases. No, no, no. He's been busy, just in different ways.

Designing with a Purpose

Ty's still got that design bug in him, big time. He's been working on his own furniture line, Ty Pennington Style, which is all about affordable, stylish pieces that anyone can love.

And get this, he's not just designing for the sake of it. Ty's been teaming up with organizations like Rebuilding Together to create affordable housing. Isn't that something?

He's also been lending his design expertise to various causes. Remember that time he helped design a space for the American Red Cross? Yeah, he's been doing stuff like that.

Writing and Speaking Engagements

Ty's not just a pretty face (though, let's be real, he's pretty easy on the eyes). He's also a New York Times bestselling author! His book, Good Design Can Change Your Life, is all about, well, how good design can change your life. Who would've thought, right?

He's been busy with speaking engagements too, sharing his design wisdom with eager audiences. I mean, who wouldn't want to hear Ty's insights on home design? The man's a pro!

And What About TV?

Now, you might be wondering, "When will Ty grace our TV screens again?" Well, friend, it's not looking like anytime soon. But who knows? Maybe one day we'll see Ty back on our screens, making dreams come true, one home at a time.

Until then, we can always rewatch old episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and reminisce about the good old days. And who knows? Maybe Ty will pop up on our Instagram feeds, sharing his latest design project. Fingers crossed!

So there you have it, folks. Ty Pennington might not be on our TV screens every week, but he's still out there, doing what he does best - designing, inspiring, and making a difference. Isn't that just the best?
