Where Is Immortal Technique Now

So, you're wondering, "Where's Immortal Technique now?" Let's grab a coffee and chat about it, yeah?

From Streets to Studios

Last we heard, our favorite politically charged rapper was making waves in the early 2000s with his raw, unapologetic lyrics. Remember "Dance with the Devil" and "Point of No Return"? Those were the days, right?

But then, poof! He seemed to vanish into thin air. Well, not quite. He was just busy being, you know, Immortal Technique.

Activism and Education

Turns out, our man was using his platform to educate and inspire. He's been all over the place, from speaking at universities to hosting political debates. Remember that time he debated Peter Schiff on economics? Mind. Blown.

He's also been involved in activism, using his voice to shed light on social issues. He's been a vocal advocate for immigrants' rights, police reform, and more. Not bad for a guy who started out rapping about his experiences growing up in the Bronx, huh?

Music and More

Now, you might be thinking, "But what about his music?" Patience, grasshopper. Immortal Technique hasn't stopped making music altogether. He's just been a bit more selective about it.

He's collaborated with the likes of Michael Franti and Dead Prez. He's also been involved in producing music for other artists. And let's not forget his work with the Revolutionary Warfare series, which features some of the most thought-provoking hip-hop out there.

As for new music from Immortal Technique himself? Well, that's a bit of a mystery. He's been teasing a new album, The Middle Passage, for what feels like forever. But you know what they say, "Good things come to those who wait." (Or something like that.)

Movies and More Movies

But wait, there's more! Immortal Technique hasn't just been busy with music and activism. He's also dabbled in acting. Yes, you heard it right. He's been in a few movies, like The Crow: Wicked Prayer and Dead Presidents.

And if that wasn't enough, he's also been involved in producing and directing documentaries. He's got a few under his belt, like The Human Factor and The 4th Branch. Not too shabby for a guy who started out as a rapper, huh?

So, Where Is He Now?

As of now, Immortal Technique is still out there, using his platform to educate, inspire, and provoke thought. He's been busy with various projects, from music to movies to activism. He's even been involved in cryptocurrency, of all things. (Yeah, we're as surprised as you are.)

As for that new album? Well, that's still a bit of a mystery. But one thing's for sure - whenever it drops, it's bound to be a thought-provoking, powerful piece of art. Because, you know, that's just what Immortal Technique does.

So, there you have it. That's what our favorite politically charged rapper has been up to. Now, who's ready for another round of coffee?
